The Education & Career Development Director is responsible for overseeing the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of the Learning Center programs for club members between the ages of 6 - 18.

Primary roles & responsiblities:

Provide age appropriate programs and activities.

Ensure that cultural diversity and educational programs are implemented.

Manage budgets and control expenses as assigned.

Provide leadership and supervision to program and volunteer staff.

Responsible for implementation of national programs designated by management.

Establish and maintain rapport with local schools and community agencies.

Introduce new programs to members and foster as learning environment within the assigned dept.

Ensure organizational educational outcomes are met.

Provide timely and accurate reporting. 

BA / BS desired - Education degree preferred

This postion is at the North Omaha Boys & GIrls Club located at 2610 Hamilton Street and is targetted to be filled Sept. 1st, 2008.

The qualified candidate shoud have experience working with youth in an educational environment and be flexible, organized and self motivated.
