Position Description

The candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses, direct undergraduate and graduate student research and develop externally funded research in the area of specialization. Additional responsibilities will include advising students and enhancing laboratory facilities.  
A B.S. degree in Civil Engineering and a Doctoral Degree in Civil Engineering or related field are required, along with the potential to become a registered professional engineer within a reasonable time frame. A proven record of effective teaching ability at the undergraduate and graduate levels, familiarity with various learning styles and ability to adjust teaching to accommodate various learning styles. Strong potential for developing funded research are expected.
