Cabela's Retail, Inc is hiring a Full-time Retail Supervisor  Cabela's CLUB for our CLUB VISA Booth at our Gonzales, Louisiana Retail Store location. This position is a critical link to our customers. This is an exciting opportunity for all outdoor enthusiasts.
 
  
This position's duties include:
  
Overseeing the Retail CLUB Visa Booth operations.  
Maintaining a positive, friendly and encouraging work environment.  
Scheduling work hours, assigning work and checking for accuracy.  
Conducting training sessions at retail stores, which may include travel to other sites.  
Conducting Performance Reviews, issuing appropriate discipline steps, and preparation of necessary documentation.  
Maintaining complete confidentiality in all employee and business matters.  
Conducting interviews and hiring associates.  
Coordinating special events for CLUB Visa members.  
Marketing the CLUB VISA to customers by detailing the benefits of being a CLUB Member.  
 Making appropriate sales pitch to customer to convince them to apply for the Cabela's CLUB VISA.  
Acting as a role model for Associates.  
Obtaining Goals at CLUB Booth.  
Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
  
This position requires:
  
Supervisory experience.  
Candidate to be a leader, team player, possess a positive attitude and have the ability to motivate and coach staff.  
The ability to communicate effectively with customers, associates, Retail management/staff and outside business contacts in a courteous and professional manner.  
Skills in negotiating an acceptable outcome for customers and company alike.  
Strong analytical, delegation, problem solving and decision making skills. Ability to organize and prioritize and reprioritize daily work activities.  
The ability to supervise individuals and resolve conflicts in a mutually acceptable manner.  
The ability to function as a team leader and create/maintain a positive environment.  
Skill in operating a personal computer in a Windows environment and associated MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access software packages.  
Ability to maintain confidentiality in personnel and business matters.  
Able to work at least 3 out of 4 weekends a month; any day, including holidays, opening and closing shifts.
