Cabela's Retail, Inc is hiring Full-time Retail Associates in Maintenance for our Retail Store in Sidney, NE. These positions are a critical link to our customers. This is an exciting opportunity for all outdoor enthusiasts.
 
  
This position's duties include:
  
Maintains cleanliness and performs preventative maintenance on machinery, buildings, grounds, and equipment.  
Repairs machinery, mechanical equipment, plumbing, sprinkler systems, electrical switches and fixtures using various hand and power tools.  
Repairs woodwork and completes various carpentry projects using carpentry tools.  
Mows and trims grass (summer), removes snow (winter), and sweeps sidewalks and streets.  
Orders and stocks various supplies as needed.  
Performs other duties as assigned by management.
  
This position requires:
  
Knowledge and experience with general maintenance principles, such as electronics, carpentry, plumbing, heating, and air conditioning.  
Must be a Customer Service oriented team player and have the ability to pay close attention to detail.  
Must have the ability to effectively communicate with customers and other business contacts in a courteous and professional manner.  
General knowledge of company products, retail practices and procedures is preferred.  
Skills in safe use of various tools and equipment, such as hand tools, power tools, lawn mowers, snow removal equipment, ladders, forklifts, and pallet jacks.  
Requires some heavy lifting.  
Must have a high school diploma, or equivalent.  
Must be able to work the following: at least 3 out of 4 weekends a month; any day, including holidays; overnight, early morning, opening and closing shifts.
