The primary duties of the Senior Plumbing Engineer will include plumbing systems design and fire protection systems design. Additionally, they will be responsible for process design for medical gas systems. All of this will be performed for labs, hospitals, and other complext structures and buildings. The Senior Plumbing Engineer will work independently on small projects or assist other engineers on larger projects. They will also help to supervise the work of a Plumbing CADD Technician and coordinate design of assigned projects with architectural staff and other engineering disciplines. Will have construction contract administration responsibilities requiring field inspections and conflict resolution.

10+ years of experience in plumbing engineering and design for an A&E or MEP firm. B.S. in Mechanical Engeering preferred, A.S. degree required. PE and/or EIT preferred. Experience in commercial or institutional facilities. Healthcare, Science and Technology and/or Civic facilities experience preferred. Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Microstation). Desire to pursue growth opportunities and obtain registration preferred. Experience and/or interest in sustainable design/LEED desired but not required. Minimum Experience: 10
