Project Management and business development are the major responsibilities of this position. Plans and manages all aspects of large water and wastewater projects. Independently coordinates the work of engineers and balances the team throughout the entire project’s development. Train and mentor staff. Establishes client relations, and is involved with the marketing, contractual, design and production meetings. Participates in reviews with various governing agencies for code compliance. Conducts work sessions for design development and contract documents in conjunction with other staff. Is responsible to track the financial aspects of the projects. Coordinates and adjusts the work effort with the team to ensure that the work is completed within the parameters of the agreed to schedule. Report to/work with Water/WasteWater Section Manager. Works with the Business/Accounting Manager or Project Controller and the Department Manager for project reviews and with company management on an as needed basis.

Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering. Masters preferred.

PE required.

15+ years water/wastewater collection, distribution, and treatment design experience.

Proven track record of successfully marketing and managing projects.

Ability to develop client relationships.

Thorough knowledge of water/wastewater treatment plant processes.

Thorough knowledge of regulatory issues including drinking water standards and effluent receiving water standards.

Proven verbal, oral and team communication skills.

Self motivated, able to work independently and with a project team to completion of a task. Minimum Experience: 15
