The Miami office of HDR is looking for a Commissioning and Facility Services Agents. The primary duties of the Commissioning Agent include planning, directing and monitoring all aspects of large multi-discipline projects or medium sized projects with high degree of technical complexity, involving project staff. May be involved with the production and coordination of several projects concurrently. Establishes client relations and is involved with marketing, contractual, design and production meetings. Conducts design development and contract document work sessions at the project sites in conjunction with Project Managers, appropriate technical professionals and other disciplines. Is responsible to coordinate the staffing and workload of the staff through the entire project development to complete documents on schedule. Works with Business/Accounting Manager, Project Controller or Company Controller and the Department Manager for project reviews. Responsible for implementing QA/QC procedures. Responsible for execution of training for personnel as established by strategic plans. Typically supervises large project staffs and acts as mentor for less experienced Project Managers. Other possible locations may include Seattle, Bellevue, Burlington, Olympia, and Spokane.

5+ years experience with Commissioning of Facilities.

• Must have the ability to interact with various design teams, have excellent organizational, project management and communication both written and verbal skills. Prefer experience in healthcare, lab, and civic buildings providing an owners representative style of facilities/commissioning services. Prefer a background in testing and balancing of facilty systems. Must have the ability to lead projects, mentor staff, and maintain client relationships. Minimum Experience: 5
