Position Description

providing excellence in engineering to our clients. We are currently looking for a Water
Resources Engineer or Project Manager to join our Pasco office located in the heart of
Washington's wine country.
The Water Resources Engineer will conduct water resources planning, irrigation system
conservation and efficiency planning, plan formulation, concept development, and develop
planning documentation. Will assist in water resources permitting efforts. This position is
also responsible for providing project engineering and task management including some H&H
modeling, drainage system design; collect, assimilate, and present data in reports, memos
and public forums; lead production of design calculations and technical reports; and lead
preparation of engineering plans and specifications for design of irigation system
piping/lining, pump stations and flow control facilities, detention facilities, storm
drains, flood control facilities, and other hydraulic structures. Will work independently
as well as plan, organize, and assist groups of medium to large teams of professionals and

Requirements - BSCE required, MS degree preferred. 7+ years of experience in water resources
engineering projects is required. PE license required. Experience with open channel
hydraulic analysis and general computer hydraulic modeling including but not limited to
Flowmaster, Stormshed 3G, MGSFlood. Computer design experience in LDD and Microstation with
Inroads, and GIS preferred. Familiarity with HEC-1, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, GEO-RAS also helpful.
