Under direct supervision of the Southern California Transportation Planning Program Manager, the Transportation Planner/Client Relationships Manager will serve as the primary contact between the project team and the clients and will promote effective and sustainable relationship between HDR and its clients, identify new markets and contract opportunities, represent HDR at political forums, participate in public and stakeholder outreach efforts, and perform other duties as necessary.

BS in Civil Engineering, Planning or related field. Minimum 5 years transportation related political and policy experience at local, regional and State levels; knowledge of and experience with regional transportation issues, projects, and programs in Southern California; demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and personnel; demonstrated ability to relate well to clients; and demonstrated presentation skills. Possession of Class C California drivers License and ability to drive. Ability and willingness to attend evening meetings with prior notice.
