Maintain active program of research through funding and publications. Develop collaborative relationships with scientists from multiple disciplines. Preferred qualifications for prominent senior researchers: sustained program of research, significant extramural funding, record of publications in high-quality scientific journals. Preferred qualifications for promising researchers: demonstrated initial extramural funding and pattern of steady publications in high-quality scientific journals. Required qualifications for all: earned doctorate in nursing or related field and qualified for appointment as assistant, associate or full professor. Must have or be eligible to apply for Nebraska nursing license or license in a compact state.
