Responsible for ex vivo assays for clinical gene therapy and transplantation studies. Coordinate projects with supervisor and other personnel. Participate in targeted research programs, including studies designed to develop and analyze gene, molecular, cellular and vaccine therapeutics. Interact with the laboratory director to discuss objectives, current literature, techniques and projects on a regular basis; review laboratory notebook, data analysis and results. Coordinate time and resources with other personnel in the laboratory and others using the laboratory on a part-time basis. Participate in and contribute to lab and project meetings. Interact with other investigators in this or other departments for the exchange of ideas and technical skills to design or enhance current research protocols and projects.
